Synopsis
Suffused with a warm, magical love of moviegoing in the "Cinema Paradiso" vein, this intimate drama from China finds delivery man Mao accidentally reunited with Ling Ling after crashing his bike. When he does not recognize her and she reacts with unexpected violence, Mao confronts the highly upset woman and comes to realize that they knew each other as children, when they watched outdoor films through a shared pair of binoculars.
