Synopsis
Valo is a story about smart and brave children. 9 year old Valo and his friend Ville establish their own school for children in a small village in the early 1900s. The children teach each other, but some adults in the village disapprove of the school and decide to close it down. The children, however, refuse to give up. The film was inspired by the authentic diaries of of Finnish artist and philosopher Aleksanteri Ahola-Valo.
