Synopsis
A young boy with a troubled home life becomes "chosen," and he stumbles into the middle of a great spirit war, where he meets a group of friendly spirits who become his companions through his journey. Now he must fight to protect his friends and free the world of the spirits from oppression. The creatures and ghosts are taken directly from Japanese folklore and range from the cute and silly to the disturbing.

7 / 10 6 / 10 How can a film director paste so much nonsense together? It is beyond my comprehension. I doubt if there is an audience for this surrealistic junk. One spark of light remains: pretty Ryunosuke Kamiki, playing Tadashi. He kept the rating for this film out of the red figures.
My Movie Rating: 6 / 10 7 / 10 I much prefer Japanese drama to this sort of Japanese fantasy. Many of the characters reminded me of of the sort of creatures that were prolific in the Power Rangers series. They just didn't appeal to me at all. The acting and the action seemed over the top as well. If it wasn't for the presence of the appealing young actor Ryunosuke Kamiki in the lead role I would not have watched it to the conclusion.
