Synopsis
Maximus is a powerful Roman general. Before his death, the Emperor chooses Maximus to be his heir over his own son, Commodus, and a power struggle leaves Maximus and his family condemned to death. The powerful general is unable to save his family, and his loss of will allows him to get captured and put into the Gladiator games. The only desire that fuels him now is the chance to rise to the top so that he will be able to look into the eyes of the man who will feel his revenge.

2 / 10 A sweeping, glorious movie with gore and blood which one would expect from its title but lots of emotion and adventure as well. Spencer Treat Clark is fine, too, when he's on the screen. He doesn't have that big a part as the Emperor's son. I was half expecting 'Gladiator' not to be listed as it barely counts as a boy film but I'm glad it had been included.
My Movie Rating: 7 / 10 TOO much blood and violence, for me, Spencer was ok but I didn't like the movie as a whole, because of all the gore. For me, the Director does not have to use Gore to tell a story, I actually didn't watch the entire movie because of the gore, there Is a point where I draw the line, and this one crossed that line! I personally DON"T recommend this movie.
