Synopsis
Orphaned 8 y/o Jay runs away on a cross country journey to the Lacrosse Championships in Chicago, believing his mother and father to be in attendance. Jay seeks solace within his imagination and brings to life a mystic story of centuries past about a sacred game played by Native Americans. Eventually Jay meets veteran detective Rosetti. The jaded cop and the boy find friendship and liberation from their fears through the healing powers of an ancient story.
