Synopsis
Set in Vancouver in the 1960s. Peter is a fragile 11-year-old with a passion for art and an aversion to his rich neighbors. With his angelic looks, long curly hair, and dressed in his sister's hand-me-downs, Peter's a strange, ethereal presence in the rundown, East End neighborhood. One day his family takes in a Native foster child, Sam, who is as lost in this world as Peter is. Together, they escape into a variety of fantasies, and one grand plan to turn Peter's father's vintage Harley into a moon rocket.
