Synopsis
A nostalgic look at life in Brooklyn, New York in 1956 from the point of view of a young Jewish boy, Alan Silver. The main characters were George and Phyllis Silver, their two sons Alan and Nathaniel, and their maternal grandparents Sophie and Jules Berger who lived in the same apartment building.
