Synopsis
Kalli is celebrating his 10th birthday during a hot summer at the beginning of the sixties. He has a secret plan with blood brothers Polli and Walter to start their own zoo. Kalli and his mum are beginning to worry that Kalli's dad is spending too much time with jolly Mrs. Hilfers and her two teenage daughters next door. Kalli's holidays are jam-packed with all sorts of action, complications and awkward situations. By the time the summer is over, he's learned quite a bit.
