Synopsis
Melodrama based on a trilogy by Piet Bakker from 1929. A little brat beyond educating is repeatedly treated unjustly by school, social workers, but above all by his selfish mother. A fatal event finally lands him up in a reform school. This film won a Silver Lion at the Venice film festival in 1955.
