The exceptionally talented, and criminally underrated, David Stollery is now perhaps best remembered for his role as Marty Markham, the 'spoilt rich kid' in the "Spin & Marty" series, regularly aired on the "Mickey Mouse Club".
As a teenager, Stollery very sensibly decided not to continue acting as a full time career, but instead chose to pursue his other interests. After studying design at the Art Center of Design in Pasadena, he became an automobile designer for General Motors and then for Toyota. He is credited with the design of the 1978 Toyota Celica, and has directed the design of many other models.
