My Movie Rating: 8 / 10 Just downgraded it to a 8 because it didn't really leave the kind of lasting impression on me I had thought it would.
Kasper is perfectly natural, sweet and kindhearted, a pleasure to watch. I thought his counterpart was ugly and a true contrast to the visual sublimity surrounding Kasper, but maybe that makes the story more realistic. The movie only lasts a good 60 minutes, but it manages to tell a convincing tale of friendship and trust. Kasper's character might be called naive for teaming up with an apparently rude and dangerous stranger, but it simply feels good to see this cute and perfectly kind boy and how he tries to fill the gap left by his absent father.
