A.L.F. (1986-1990)

Was one of my favorite shows! By the way! it was the boy that named him Alf in the pilot Ep. My favorite Ep. was when Alf had the Hickups! They sounded like wood and metal scrapeing together! very funny!! and the boy was adorable, but even if there hadn't been a boy in the show, I'd still have watched the show just because of Alf! They did a spinoff movie of Alf called Project: A.L.F. where Willy and family dump him on the Gov. and go into hiding! also very funny!

All Summer in a Day (1982)

For a short time Keith Mitchell went with the stage name Coogan, because he happens to be the Maternal Grandson of Jackie Coogan(Uncle Fester-Addams Family TV series)! I always liked Keith because he's so cute, he has a strong family resimblence to Jackie, Look at pics of Jackie an Keith at the same ages! This show was an episode for the ABC After School Special, I've seen it several times over the years! Because the planet almost never sees the sun, the children have to do tanning treatments to keep from becoming sick, Keith stands in front of the tanning lights wearing only underwear!

Les amitiés particulières (1964)

Didier's natural and youthful charm made this masterpiece a delight to watch! The budding romance between Georges and Alexandre was stunning! I wonder why it took SO long for me to see this gem of a movie, I'm a sucker for boy movies, and especially TearJerker boy movies! The sadness in Didier's eyes brought me to tears! I'm sure Cinefan will be happy to know that Didier now has a new fan for life! I want to see ALL of his movies, eventually!

Andy Griffith Show (1960-1968)

Old fashion American values, clean cut, wholesome comedy! Andy, Don and Ronny (Ron), had a life long friendship, Sadly, Andy Griffith died recently, Ron Howard commented it was like losing his Dad! he was only 6 years old when he started on the show, this show was a spinoff of "The Danny Thomas Show" from a Skit on the show, where Danny and family are on a road trip, they come through a sleepy little town called Mayberry, and the rest is tv history!

Apollo 13 (1995)

I'm 50 yrs. old, And very much remember sitting in my Elemetary classroom watching the events of this movie unfold in real life! I can remember watching the news reports at home on tv, and Dad saying that it was history in the making, and thankfully, my Dad was still alive when this movie hit theaters, it was like Deja vu for both of us! It's a great movie for the whole family, also, there's a few very cute boys in it too, but their mainly just scenery.

The Bad News Bears (1976)

Here's a tidbit: Bret Marx is the grandson of Harpo Marx! I love this movie, I watch it every chance I get! My favorite character is, of course, the very sassy Tanner, played very well by Chris Barnes! I also liked Brandon Cruz, he made a good opposite for Barnes. If you like Chris Barnes, try movie short, "Big Henry and the Pock A Dot Kid!" Chris co-stars opposite Barry Corbin as Big Henry!

Battlestar Galactica (1978-1979)

SO MUCH BETTER than the remake series, I didn't like the remake AT ALL! Boxey was the focal point of the show for me, I stopped watching after Noah's part was discontinued as the child Boxey after the cast change.

The Black Stallion (1979)

Excellent movie! Kelly was outstanding! I recently read in an article that Kelly was in an automobile crash several years after this movie, he almost died, it did leave him handicapped, to the point that he had to give up acting, he became an over the road truck driver.

The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas (2008)

A surperb movie! In my book Speilberg just doesn't make bad movies! and when he makes one with or about boys, they are the tops! and this one is absolutely no exception!

Asa is a very cute boy, those eyes make me melt every time I see them!

A Bronx Tale (1993)

Francis Capra was hand picked by Robert DeNiro and Chazz Palminteri, I'm not surprised DeNiro did a great job on his Directorial debut, He is very much the perfectionist, in the movie "This Boy's Life" in the scene where he had Leo D'Caprio on the floor and was choking him, he WAS really choking him! Leo gave him signal when to release that they worked out before the scene was shot! I did not know that Palminteri is the author of the stage play the movie is based on, BONUS!
