I really enjoyed this movie, and didn't expect the twist at the end! Great job by Gonzalo Salas! I've just upgraded it to a 10... it had everything that rating should imply!

Song for a Raggy Boy (2003)

This is one of the most amazing movies ever... and terrible, too, in the literal sense of the word! I balled my eyes out at least three times - in anger, in sadness and in joy. Beautiful kids, awful place. Powerful.

An incredible movie. If you haven't seen it yet, find it NOW!

Alla älskar Alice (2002)

I have an affinity for Swedish movies, perhaps, but this offers a glimpse of something for everyone, probably. The only possible "drawback" is that Stasse isn't actually the main character, although his role is substantial and he does a great job and looks marvelous.

Angela's Ashes (1999)

I only remotely remember this movie, although I remember it being VERY moving! SO.. until I get around to seeing it again, I'll give it a 9!

August Rush (2007)

I, for one, loved the movie... but I happen to like movies with musical prodigies! Les Choristes, for example, or Sound of Music. It's got some unbelievable coincidences (I mean that literally), but heck, it IS a movie after all. I went back and saw it a second time. For a buck, why NOT!? I didn't say "Must Watch" because it's great for ME, but maybe it's not for everyone.

I haven't seen this movie since it showed on TV in Sweden when was 16, but it was very well received and I wouldn't mind seeing it again.

Blöde Mütze! (2007)

Johann is a kid well-worth watching! Sweet, innocent... and just plain beautiful. It is a pretty wonderful story of friendship, trust and adolescence, too!

The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas (2008)

This is a very powerful story which follows the book quite well. Asa does a beautiful, fantastic job! I sure hope we get to see him in some more films before long!
