Synopsis
H.W. is a widowed Berlin politician finds raising orphaned teens Michael and Jennifer and little Toby hard to combine with his job. When the trio sneaks off to see a houseboat their late mother left them, he has to chase after them. While on the houseboat the kids befriend Isabell, the daughter of a leading Berlin contractor vacationing incognito. Since H.W. must return to work, at the kids insistence, he begrudgingly he hires Isabell to mind them. While visiting for a boat trip, H.W. sort of warms to her, but a paparazzo secretly photographs him cavorting with Isabell, exposing him to corruption rumors compromising his career.
