6 / 10 A good movie for to learn about racism, And Joseph was very cute as Little Tree! Sorry, I can't mark it as a must see though. but it isn't a don't bother either!

Another "man's inhumanity to man" movie, where the government is trying to Americanize the Indians, starting with the very young, like our friend Little Tree. History does indicate this really happened. And again we don't understand why they raid; they pillaged; they scalped, etc. us Americans who are seizing their land and all that--a forerunner to our today's divisiveness? Joseph Ashton did a great job in this movie.
