Synopsis

One night, Mr. Blot visits a boy who is an invalid at a hospital. To cheer him up, he decides to tell him the story of the adventure he once had with a boy just like him called Pietrek, of how the evil Great Electronic sought to spoil an annual festival of fairy tales by destroying the supply of ink, and how he and Pietrek set out with a crew on a perilous sea voyage in order to find a fresh ink supply.

The second of a trilogy of films involving the adventures of Pan Kleks, preceded by Akademia pana Kleksa (1984) and succeeded by Pan Kleks w kosmosie (1988)
Based on the 1961 novel of the same name by Polish poet and children's writer Jan Brzechwa (1898-1966)
