Synopsis
Karchy a Hungarian immigrant of the early 1960s feels adrift in a strange sea of American culture. He tries to fit in at his high school but finds himself a laughing stock. Karchy's only respite is the rock & roll he adores. When he becomes friends with a flashy DJ who lets him do odd jobs, he thinks he may finally become cool, but there is much the naive youth is destined to learn the hard way about his new buddy.
