Synopsis
The Vorstadtkrokodile are an unruly band of 10-13 year olds. Not only are they quick with their tongues, but sometimes also quick with their fists. To join the Krokodiles, first you must pass a dangerous test of courage. Only then can you have the gang's symbol, a crocodile, sewn to your jeans. Hannes climbs to the top of the roof of the old brick works, but on the way down he slips and is left hanging helplessly from the gutter. The crocodiles turn tail and run. Luckily Kurt watches everything and calls the fire department. Kurt is confined to a wheelchair, but the "rider" earns a place of honour in the group through his wit and brains. And because Kurt has more in his head than the others have in their legs, they manage to solve the burglaries that are troubling their community.
