Synopsis
1947. 11-year-old Roger is expelled from his school. His strict father sends him as a boarder to a village school in Anjou, where there is a strict but kind-hearted schoolmistress nicknamed Mumu. This is the story of Roger's stay at that school, until he is expelled again.
