Synopsis
The first of two films based on characters created by novelist Moore Raymond, this tells of a mischievous boy, Smiley, who wants a bicycle, but the funds aren't available. He goes through numerous adventures in his quest for his "dream" vehicle, the most heart-pounding of which involves drug smugglers. In the end, Smiley finally gets his coveted bike.

9 / 10 8 / 10 Not a great film but nevertheless well worth watching especially for film buffs. Colin Petersen is quite appealing in the central role of Smiley.

I guess you will do anything to get a bike even if it involved something criminal. Obviously, Smiley didn't know that. Colin Petersen did a great job scampering around the countryside as Smiley. He's not a bad-looking kid either; likewise his buddy Bruce Archer.
