Synopsis
16-year-old Lilja lives in a poor suburb in the former Soviet Union. She dreams about a better life. After being abandoned by her mother she moves to a dilapidated flat. Her only friend is an 11-year-old boy, Volodja. One day hope arrives when Lilja falls in love with Andrei who wants her to follow him to Sweden to start a new life. 7 / 10 Good movie up until the end. Those stupid angel wings turned this otherwise powerful film into what looked like a mediocre children's fantasy.
