- Malcolm Knight was to enjoy a successful acting career into the 1970s. Then, after retiring from acting in 1975, he set up a company called Malcolm Knight Productions, and through it became one of the UK's best known commercial touring producers. From its inception through to 1990, the company produced more than 100 plays, pantomimes and musicals. Knight directed many of his productions and often had two or three tours running concurrently. His musical productions included "Hair" (which he also directed), "Oh! What a Lovely War", "The Rocky Horror Show", "West Side Story" and "Grease". The Profile picture on this page shows Knight as Monty Cowan in "Passport to Pimlico" (1949).
