Biography

Marcus Harris was born in Isleworth in 1964, the son of David and Kim Harris. As time progressed, he, and his younger brother Aaron, started performing; but whereas Marcus took to it, Aaron did not. At 13 years of age, Marcus made the break into television, landing the part of Julian in ITV's adaptation of Enid Blyton's Famous Five, in which role he would get to work with such people as Rupert Graves and Brian Blessed. After two years of filming, Marcus retired, finished his schooling, and then built up (and sold) a business. At the age of 45, Marcus returned to professional acting by filming a bio pick about, and with, Philip Pullman. Since then his career has developed with a two week stint in the West End, an internet drama, a German feature film, various adverts, and another bio pick, this time about Ernest Hemingway. He has been a Councillor and was indeed Deputy Mayor of his home town of Wallingford.
